Shawn was sent to Earth aboard a rocket ship built by his father moments before the destruction of his home planet. Once here, he found that the energy of our sun gave him powers far greater than those of mortal men. Unfortunately, he stayed indoors reading comic books all the time like a nerdly little goth kid, so he never really became that powerful.
